Finish with 2 dc in the BLO of the last st. Turn.
Continuing with Mini Skein/Color 2 and Beyond
- Rows 14-22: Using your next 20 g mini skein/color 2, repeat Row 2 a total of 10 times, or until you almost run out of your second 20 g mini skein.
- Rows 23-25: Using your contrasting color yarn, repeat Rows 11-13.
- Continue in this manner, changing colors as needed, until you have used all 12 of your mini skeins or your scarf reaches your desired length. This means you will alternate between the 10-row mini-skein sections (following the pattern of Rows 2-10 for each mini-skein) and the 3-row contrasting color sections (following the pattern of Rows 11-13).
Finishing and Blocking
Blocking is an essential step to achieve the finished size and drape.
- Soak your scarf in warm water with a mild soap for at least one hour.
- Remove excess water by wrapping the wet scarf in a towel. Do not let the wet scarf hang unsupported.
- Reshape the scarf to its finished dimensions (122”/279 cm long x 8”/20 cm wide) and lay it flat to dry.
- Once dry, weave in all loose ends.
Your “Yarn Candy Scarf” is now complete! Enjoy your beautiful, colorful, and warm accessory.
