Instructions for Making the Dainty Daisy Granny Square Pattern:

Center of the Daisy (Color A – flower center):

  • Start with a magic loop.
  • Ch 2 (counts as first dc), work 11 dc into the magic loop. (Total: 12 dc)
  • Pull tail to close loop tightly.
  • Sl st to top of beg ch-2 to join. Fasten off Color A.

Daisy Petals (Color B):

  • Sl st to base of first petal to join. Fasten off Color B.

Tip: Keep petals neat by working loosely and evenly around each dc from Round 1.

  • Side cluster: In next ch-2 space, work 2 dc.
  • In next ch-2 space, work (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) – this forms the 2nd corner.
  • Continue around: (2 dc in next ch-2 space), (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch-2 space) for corners, and 2 dc for sides.
  • After last side cluster, sl st to top of beg ch-3 to join.
