Measurements
- The border is approx. 1.25″ (3 cm) wide when worked around a standard blanket or garment edge.
- Length: adjustable based on project size (pattern can be worked along any straight or curved edge).

Stitching Instructions for Making the Crochet Chain Border Pattern:
Foundation Round (optional for clean base):

- Join yarn at any corner with a slip stitch.
- Ch 1, sc evenly around the entire edge, placing (sc, ch 1, sc) in each corner to turn.
- Join with a sl st to the first sc.
- Fasten off if using a contrasting color for the chain border.
Chain Border Pattern
- Round 1:

- Join yarn with a sl st in any stitch along the edge.
- Ch 6, skip 2 stitches, sl st in the next stitch.
- Repeat from to around.
- Adjust as needed to end evenly at the corner.
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
- Optional: In corners, skip only 1 stitch instead of 2 for better shaping.
Finishing Options

- You can keep the simple chain loops, or for a more decorative finish:

- Join yarn in the center of any chain loop.
