  • Rows 3-9: Repeat Row 2 until only 1 stitch remains.
  • Row 10: SC 1, turn to SC along the side, sl to the opposite corner, folding the two ends together, and SC along the side back to the start of the row. Then BO and weave in the end.

  • Round 7: Switch to brown yarn. SC through the back loops only for one round (18 stitches).
  • Rounds 8-10: SC around for 3 rounds (18 stitches each). Then BO and leave a long tail for sewing.

  • Round 23: DC in each stitch around (32 stitches).
  • Round 24: HDC in each stitch around, then BO. Fold down this flap to create the collar of the jacket. Fill the body with stuffing.

Assembly

Now that all the pieces are made, it’s time to assemble your Baby Yoda:

  • Attach the Ears: Use the long tail from the ears to sew them onto either side of the head, at about eye level. They should stick straight out.
  • Attach the Arms: Add a small amount of stuffing to the arms. Use the tail yarn to sew them onto the body, roughly around the 12th round from the base. Repeat for the other arm.
  • Attach the Head to the Body: Use the long tail yarn from the head. Bring your needle to where the head touches the body. Then, go through a space on the head and one of the back loops left unworked on the body (from Round 7 of the body, where you worked in back loops only). Continue sewing around until the head is securely attached. Fasten off.
  • Finishing: Weave in any remaining loose ends and trim the excess yarn.

Your Baby Yoda is now complete!
